A:  I think that there is a lot of value in ambiguity, 
and McLuhan would have said that. It makes you 
fill in the blanks and maybe you come up with a 
new solution. Maybe you interpret more than he 
ever said, and maybe that’s good.


Q:  What sort of McLuhan’s lessons would have 
helped us with this change, of moving toward a 
more openly democratic system. Is there anything 
he left us that would assist in this transition?

A:  I would guess that it would have to be his 
spirit—this combined cynicism/optimism that sort
